.....yeehaw.....

.....another benefit I love about the northeast is that school starts late.....so we are off to Dallas for one more summer tryst.....one more long weekend with cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends.....and one more time this year to bask out in the pool until after dinnertime, staying up late and sleeping in......popsicles outside in the hot Texas sun and ice cream for a late afternoon snack.....

.....it's our last hurrah this summer.....our final chapter in what has been one of the best summers in the city......and when we return, we will be ready to start fall and all of the colorful and crisp joy it brings......

....but in the meantime, we're Texas bound......
